    I hope you are keeping well and enjoying the better weather we seem to have had a bit of a break at last in the rain!

    We have been really busy this last few weeks particularly in our soap room as customers stock up on our soap sponges and soap loves.  While they are popular all year round we find in the Summer months the sponges go crazy with people wanting to take them on holiday with them to have their skin in tip top condition ready for tanning.  They are perfect for exfoliating the skin ready for self tanning to get that summer glow without the patches of old tan.  We have a massive range of 145 fragrances and essential oils and you can buy your sponge in our mini exfo size, our large exfo and we also offer a smooth sponge for those customers who don’t want the exfoliating massage side.  You can find our full range here

     Also popular in summer are our soap loaves, we have 145 fragrances to choose from and they are available whole or sliced, they offer a massive mark up costing from 99p per slice upwards with an RRP of £3.00-3.50!  They are a great way to maximise your profits and are perfect for in gift sets in the run up to Christmas.

    If you make any of your own soaps did you know that you can buy the Stephensons soap base from us?  If you have an order in you can add any soap ingredients (including empty sponges) to the order or if you want to just order ingredients you can head to our sister site www.simplysoaping.co.uk there isn’t a minimum spend and you still get all the ingredients at wholesale prices!  We currently have a sale over there on our 11.5 kilo boxes of Melt and Pour Crystal sls free clear soap base with 20% off making it just £40 a box!  Grab them before they are gone!  We also have lots of other bases such as OPC, Jelly soap and solid shampoo.  If you need any help choosing ingredients just drop us a line.

    I hope you have had a good week!  It has been crazy busy here at The Soap House, we have been busy making products perfect for maximising your Summer sales!  A trending product this week has definitely been our Body Butters.  If you haven’t tried these already they are gorgeous, packed with moisturising ingredients such as Shea Butter and Sunflower Oil and available in so many fragrances - a clear winner this week has been our Shake Ya Bum Bum scent, inspired by Bum Bum Cream.     As people are looking to jet off on holiday our Soap Sponges which sell well all year become even more popular, they are perfect for pre tanning to smooth and exfoliate the skin.  We offer three different sizes of sponge but the most popular would be our large soap sponges, You can select to receive them cello wrapped, naked or why not add on a clamshell?  They are ideal for travel, storage between uses and for those who are concerned about plastic use, they are made from up to 80% recycled materials and can be recycled themselves.  You can find the clams here.

     

    Another popular product has been our bath rocks.  Available in lots of fragrances and your customers can pop as little or as many as they want into a bath, or they work really well in a foot spa - just drop 1 into the water.
